Concentration Test > Functional Tests > operation of the discharge valve or pneumatic/ electrical discharge devices should be verified.

To advise personnel of the risk of CD2 systems in the vicinity. appropriate warning signs must be affixed in conspicuous locations > Changing and Filling. Cylinder outlets should be fitted with safety covers or antirecoil devices. whenever the cylinderis not connected to the system piping.

(or spares) without discharging may be permitted to be retained in service for a maximum of 12 years from the date of the last hydrostatic test. At the end of 12 years. they must be discharged and retested befare being returned to service

• Check the fire alarm panel to ensure alarm initiating devices are functioning properly at the time of inspection
